The Sony NP-BG1 is a Type G InfoLithium rechargeable battery pack for compact Sony digital cameras such as the DSC-N1. It has a battery life of approximately 270 images or a viewing time of approximately 200 minutes. It is enabled for Accupower for displaying the amount of minutes for remaining battery life. It has a power rating of 3.6-volts, 3.4-Wh (960 mAh) with no memory effect. The battery can be charged with BC-CS3 battery charger or CyberShot Station cradle (sold separately).

I did not receive this merchandise because the vendor ran out of stock and i was refunded the credit. Therefore I have no review on this product.

Sony has this new think in there batteries where they dont let other batties work on your camera so you dont swap batties around from all your cameras with one battery. Thsi battery will probably say that it is not compatible with your camera even though it says it is.

this is terrible service…I ordered this product 1/29/07 and it hasn’t arrived to date 02/12/07…I receive books via media mail in 3-5 days, can’t believe the product isn’t here…probably won’t order from this person or Amazon again with this kind of service.

It isn’t marked with the words Info Lithium so I am confused about whether this battery has that feedback feature or not.

I purchased my “back-up” battery at a lower price on Amazon than my original costed. I ordered it in the morning, and Amazon shipped it that same day! I received my new battery withing 3 buisiness days without paying for faster service! I HIGHLY recommend using Amazon for anything you are considering buying….at least check it out and compare!
